I am looking for a doctor in the Olympia, WA area.

Greetings Sigrid: Congratulations on your focus to have weight loss surgery. Have you already checked with Uniform Medical to see if this insurance company will cover bariatric surgery? If they do, then, what doctors are covered with Uniform Medical. My insurance carrier is also Group Health. I know for a fact they do cover bariatric surgery and their surgeons are very good. Have you considered having your surgery BEFORE making the switch? If it is because they dally around taking years before they actuallly do the surgery, I do know an excellent doctor who could and would take care of you as your surgeon. You woud simply need to pay his surgeon's fee and have the surgery at Group Health hospital.
