I'm sorry to say that I fill this bill. I don't know enough about this
revision process to really answer truthfully. I assume it means to have the
surgery redone. I would rather myself, to try and get it back off the old
fashion way with eating as I should and mass amounts of excersise. I just
re-joined back up here today (after a long absence) because I realize that
I'm really in need of some serious support. I would try to really hunker
down and give it another try doing what you learned in the beginning,
that's what I plan on doing. Hope this help's you in some way.

Hi Evelyn, I also had revision. I had stomach stapling in 1995 and revision
to Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass this year, in February. I am still in the
process of losing weight and have lost about 61 pounds so far.... As for
you gaining 50 pounds, maybe you're eating too often throughout the day, or
the wrong kinds of food/drinks. Stay away from sugar and white flour
products or greasy foods and drink only no-sugar drinks.

i too have gained weight approxiamtely 40 lbs since my surgery 4 hears
ago. unfortunately i cna eat junk food all day but when it comes to eating
healthy protein and vegies i cannot handle the meats . i also and now on an
antidepresant and i have gained about quite abit from that in only one
month. i never lost large amounts of weight. through my first month post op
i l only lost 12 lbs i had a stricture and could not keep anything down. i
hear insurance does not pay for the revision. does anyone know about
this??? i will accept any ideas thanks terry
