Question:
in need of a nutritionist in Wichita KS
anyone know of a nutritionist familiar with weight loss surgery in wichita kansas. Didn't feel I got good postop info after surgery for diet and needing help. — wizardofoz (posted on January 25, 2008)

How about checking with your insurance company to see if they cover
nutritionist or maybe with your primary care physician to see if they have
any suggestions. I'm going to be checking with mind. Since my surgery
I've not once had a meeting with the nutritionist from the surgeons office
and now they are offering @ $40 nutritionist counseling for people who are
beyond 3 month post-op (mind you it costs $500 for the program before you
have surgery and now they want you to pay again what you've already paid
for in the first place). I'm going to check with my insurance company or
PCP the next time I see her so that I can find foods that will give me the
maximum protein throughout the day.

I am frrom Kentucky. I don't know anything about nutritionist in Witchita
but I chose to have may RNY at Centennial Hospital in Nashville, TN. No
only are are follow up visits are included in initial surgical charge for
life, also free nutritional counselling and phychological counselling are
also available free of charge. I just thought i would pass this along if
anyone lives in driving range of Nashville, TN. I was totally shocked to
find that all of these services were available free of charge
