Morning Crystal - i was advised NOT to work on the belly area until about 2
- months out since everything is still healing. If you have a stretch
band, u can use that for your arms & various leg excercises. When you
are able to, use one of the excersize balls to help w/ your core muscles.
How much have you lost since Surgery? I had my band on 10/29 and have only
lost 8 lbs since then. Rebecca

Hi, I had lap band surgery on 9/25 and have lost 27 lbs. I joined a core
training class and it helped alot. We use the sculpting straps and hand
weights(2-3lb) and the ball. I cant really do it exactly like it should be
but it keeps me moving for 45 mins to an hour. Hope that helps...Connie

Most surgeons will tell you not to exercise until 6 weks after your surgery
- other than walking, of course. Once you hit that mark, you can have at
the exercise! In general, all exercise is good but core exercises will
help with tighten the muscles the most. Unfortunately, there is no golden
answer to tightening up the skin. I had the lapband almost 5 years ago. I
finally gave up on getting the skin to tighten and had my tummy tuck last
April. No matter how much walking, yoga, etc., I did the skin did not go
away and my starting weight was only 240. I currently weigh 130 and ma
VERY happy with the results of my tummy tuck.
Good luck. Vicki
