Question:
Has anyone gotten approved with a united healthcare written exclusion

It say surgical or nonsurgical treatment of obesity or morbid obesity. It does not mention comorbidities or being medically necessary.    — Samathal8585 (posted on September 12, 2007)

after 9months of no. suddenly an approval letter showed up with out warning. I meet my surgeon in 12days

About two years ago UHC covered the surgery. Have you appealed. IF not appeal you should have 3 levels of appeal. 1st level and 2nd level and extrenal. Don't take no as answer. I have seen alot that go to the extrenal level and alot of them get approved.
