Question:
Who has M-Plan?
How to speed the process? I filled out my paper work. They are talking about a 6 month plan. Indiana Canidate, does anyone have the same insurer? — Ro1958 (posted on July 21, 2007)

Hi Rochelle, thanks for writing. If your insurance company has a goal of 6
months for you or is their norm, there is no way to "speed" it
up. Don't try. What you need to do is make wise use of that time. Begin
to diet and exercise. It will help you 100% after surgery and prepare you
for the big changes surgery brings. Think of of it a goal and the reward
at the end is the surgery. There is so much to learn and do. I waited for
9 months, and it almost was not enough time for the research and learning.
Buy a few books and learn, get your test done, and start walking NOW. Do
some upper body exercises to strengthen your arms because you use them A
LOT after surgery. Thin out the fat around your liver with some weight
loss and get to a support group for words of wisdom and advice while you
wait. There is a lot to do, so don't buck the process, enjoy it and
prepare your body for the big change. Take care. Patricia P.
