Hi Kalle...I live 2 hours from Muskegon, so I had my surgery in Detroit.
All that to say... that I have friends that had Dr. Gluck do their
surgery. They are extremely happy with him.I have only heard great things
about him and his staff. His wife works right there in the office. If I
lived near Muskegon, I would have gone to him in the blink of an eye. His
web site is "weighok.com."Check it out. Good luck to ya

I am from Grand Haven and 19 mos postop. This whole experience has been
awesome! I have lost around 200lbs and am below the goal weight he gave me
at my presurgery consult. I can say enough about Dr. Gluck and his staff.
He is very good at what he does and has one of the best bedside manners I
have encountered. I had my RNY in November of 2005 and left the hospital
the day before Thanksgiving. I left the hospital with his pager # and
cellphone #, he even called on Sunday to check up on me. Visiting nurses
were at my house on Thanksgiving during near blizzard conditions and again
to check on me Saturday! All that care and I wasn't really a difficult
case. I think he does this with everyone, but don't hold me to it. He
really sets you up to succeed with a great medical staff, his surgical
skills and a awesome followup programs. Perhaps you may want to attend th
support meeting on Monday at Mercy @6:15p. Support meetings include a guest
speaker (Erica the dietician this month) for the first part of the meeting,
after that we break up into groups seperated by how far out we are out.
Feel free to email me if you have question. My email is [email protected]

I go back on Tuesday for my 5 week followup with Dr. Gluck. I had the RNY
on June 6. I had very little pain with the surgery and really like Dr.
Gluck. There are alot of conflicting opinions out there as to what you
eat and do and when, but all I can say is just follow what Dr. Gluck and
staff tell you. I think that he is a little more cautious than some but
this is a good thing
