yes, they do it's in a liquid form and it's a wonderful thing. But the
pain is not going to be outrages, so don't worry.
I am the biggest wimp around and can't tallarait pain and I did good, which
means anyone else outthere are going to be just fine.

Definitely!!! Keep in mind I had open-RNY and I'm sure every surgeon and
hospital is different, but the pain med I received was the type where you
have the button and you self-administer your med. You press the button
whenever you need it. IF you happen to have one of those, I'd suggest not
waiting to when the pain gets reeeaaallly bad because it's easier to
control the pain than get rid of it once it's there. If you're worried,
definitely speak to your surgeon/anesthesiologist before surgery. Good
luck!

I had the Lap RNY and not only had the PCA pump in the hospital where I
gave myself my meds, I had a morphine drip as well. Then they sent me home
on liquid percocet. I can be a wimp if the pain gets control of me, I can't
chase it back well, and honestly they made pain management a priority
during my hospitalization and discharge. I was on meds as needed for my
first month if I felt the need. So, they should take good care of you.
