Kasey,
My mom went to Dr. Baker for her bypass. She will be three years out this
December. She weighs 150lbs. She is doing very well. Dr. Baker is very
througough and is generally concerened with all of his patients. He makes
sure that my mom even after three years out goes to all of her yearly check
ups. When she has called with any concerns she is able to see him or speak
to him almost right away. Dr. Baker even performs the scelero if it is
needed after you are out awhile. What that is is when the opening to your
new stomach streched to big by no fault of the Dr. or the surgery or the
patient it can just sometimes happen. What Dr. Baker does is go back in and
shrink the opening for you so that it is within normal range again. Not
many surgeons will do this for their post-op patients. He is excellant in
his care of you as a patient he has a good track record and he has
excellent follow up care. I think he would be a great choice. Feel free to
email me anytime, just clik on my profile on this post and I believe my
e-mail is on my profile. I hope this helps. Take care. Your WLS sister Jo

I have heard wonderful things about him. I have no doubts about his
skills. I do wonder if they need to hire some more folks to work there
since they are NOT very speedy at getting back to me and I have been
approved for over 2 months. There's my two cents. Michele
