How about a part time job with insurance that cover WLS? Are you CERTAIN
you cant get insurance to pay? Call your LEGISLATORS, laws must be passed
to mandate coverage.

Cynthia,
I have a listing of finance companies over on www.bodybybaltasar.com - go
to "Links" and then "Money Stuff." Many of us end up
self-paying when insurance doesn't work out. Some of us end up going out
of country for surgery. I went to Spain to Dr. Aniceto Baltasar for my
surgery almost 2.5 yrs ago. It was an excellent experience and I've lost
210 lbs and all but my structural co-morbidities (which are much improved).
I paid $15,000 for everything - surgery, travel, etc.
Let me know if I can answer any questions, okay?
Blessings,
dina

First of all...$60,000 is way too high. In Tyler, TX the hospital gives a
package deal for around $20,000. It would be cheaper to fly here for that
much difference. Hope this helps..

Hi,
I just had surgery in Little Rock, Arkansas with an absolutely excellent
surgeon called Dr. Mark Gibbs. The full cost of the surgery, including
after care up to (I believe) 6 months is $15,100 for open. (The woman in
the bed next to me paid cash, this is how I know as we have become
friends.) I think it's a couple of thousand more for Lap which is what I
had. But we've both done very well. His phone number is 501-227-9080.
You should call and get details, because honestly it's worth the travel to
have it done. E-mail me if you want more information. Good luck!
