NO! You will be fine, I have 7 and I love them, I had 2 of my bigger ones
done after surgery. I got them all in spots that I can hide and show when I
want, some places like my kids school I feel funny showing them off, so I
hide them:o) Good luck!

I had all 5 of mine done pre op, but have never had any problems with them.
you do want to find a very reputable and clean place to go to. make sure to
ask the artist to show you some of his/her work, and ask if they have done
any on themselves. before i go to any new tatoo place, i make sure it is
clean, the artist is knowledgabel( that why the question if done any on
self. a good artist will work on his/her self). the place i go to, they
pull the needles out of the autoclave in front of you, and you can watch
them put the gun together. just be sure to take some tylenol before and
after. it will help with any discomfort.oh.... i forgot to add, tatoo's are
very adictive. i'm already thinking about what and where to put my 6th one.
(giggle) Good luck!!

I chose a place that had experienced artists, had been there for a long
time, was VERY clean, would answere my questions, and used disposable
needles.
