I brought my own nightcloths for when I got my IV out, slippers, family
photos, lip balm! I would bring shampoo too, it is so wonderful when you
can take your own shower! I also brought books to read, but they never
left my suitcase. Best of luck to you!

Take something LOOSE and comfortable to go home in and a robe for when you
are up walking around. Plenty of oral hygiene stuff and lip balm (your
mouth and lips will feel really dry after surgery). Also, you might
consider a small portable or battery operated FAN. I'm generally hot
natured and perspire alot, so my little fan helped ALOT! Laying on a
plastic mattress is not very comfortable for a large person. Good luck!
