Question:
I was not able to talk to anyonw at BC/BS
BC/BS requested medical records last week they have been faxed, I called today to see if I could talk to someone in charge of the decision but was told that would not be pssible. What do I do now, just wait ? This is driving me crazy any advice would be welcome . — STAR W. (posted on December 6, 1999)

I would let to let the doctor try and talk to them. Be a squeaky wheel. If
they get enough calls they will let you talk to somebody. I hear it can be
a long process sometimes. Good Luck

I am also having trouble with BC/BS of Minnesota. My
employer switched from Preferred One to Blue Cross January
1st. And no one has their card yet!!! They were flooded
with calls about the card, precriptions, etc. I had trouble
getting my prescription, one that I really needed. I have
veinous insuffiency and my medicine is a combo of a fluid
pill and blood pressure control. I hope I don't have problems
later on getting the stuff done for the surgery to take place.
I say bug them until they crack, and don't stop until you
get the answer you want. Ask the doctor to send the fax again.
I wish you luck.
