Muscle spasms

Well I had a RNY almost 4 yrs ago in December and almost every time I'm have a bowel movement I get a muscle spasm or cramp (feels like a charlie horse) on my right side just below my rib?? has anyone else had this or know what causes this?    — mistee.rios (posted on August 17, 2012)

Did you tell your doctor this? mine checked and it was caused by not enough vitamins and minerals, the longer you go after surgery the greater need for supplements I take a Centrum four times a day and it went away.
