Question:
is it ok to use mucinex for chest cold and congestion?

Is it ok to take mucinex, like the melts for kids for chest congestion? Trying to get over this but it is all in my chest and hurting. Please help OH fam. Thanks guys.    — latreshar (posted on September 22, 2009)

It should be ok. Right after I had my surgery I was having problems with mucous and the nurse told me to get mucinex and take it before I eat. Based on that I would say Mucinex is ok.

THANKS DAWN, SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT IT WAS OK, BUT I GUESS FROM ALL THE COLD AND MUCUS IT WAS HELL TRYING TO SWALLOW THE PILL I COULD ONLY GET ONE DOWN AND SCARED TO TRY AGAIN, ALMOST GAGGED.
