You'll be able to talk with others who are having, considering and have
done revisions here! Oh and GOOD luck with it!

Sorry to hear of all the health issues. As for the surgery question, I has
VSG on 10-27-08. I am down 33 pounds from 219. The required medication will
in fact make U gain weight as u have noticed. As for having the revision
from VG to VSG I would think long and hard on this. Once the stomach is
smaller there is not going back. Diet and nutrition will be even more
important then over now, due to the illness. U don't want to get yourself
into a malnutrition situation as it may effect your illness for the worse.
Have a LONG DETAILED talk with a GOOD surgeon. Ask tons of questions and
make sure you think long and hard about life after surgery 30 years from
now. How will you get food and nutrition when U R elderly? Just tossing it
out there to get your thinking. Good luck.
