I like the Nectar Cappucino. I didn't have to do a liquid fast before surgery.

how many days do you need to do the diet? i had a 10 day. so i did veg./beef/chicken broth alot of it and then slim fast can drinks with the appetite suppressant. that helped alot but you cant have them after the surgery because of the sugar content. keep that in mind... and yes the first couple of days ar hard but it does get better.

I really like the Shaklee protein drinks. They seem to absorb well and I feel great when I'm on them. Can be mixed with juice or milk and I like the flavor. They also have a vitamin booster you can add to it. I imagine one could go on line, look up Shaklee and find a distributor near you. I'm not sure.

Hi- Do yurself a favor- go to GNC and buy WHEY PROTEIN - UNFLVORED. Its the BEST $27 you spend. It can be mixed in ANYTHING:Iced Tea, soup, yogurt, PROPEL, lemonade, jello, crystal light, (preop- gatorade) postop- NO gatorade..COLD DECAF COFFEE you will wind up using it right through your postop recovery. Istill use it and ISOPURE Liquid H20 in Mango Peach- its the BEST flavor- mixed great with Propel. After surgery your tasted buds are altered- and the WHEY will help you adjust rather well. ALSO- If you wanna try Nectar- Fuzzy Navel - Roadside Lemonade- Tealicious..But the WHEY PROTEIN- mixes into anything- and its 21gm a scoop/ 3scoops daily = 60gms. hope that helps ya! Donna

I cannot say that I really like the protein drinks, but I can tolerate Isopure chocolate. If you mmix it with carb countdown dairy drink, it has ALL your protein, and you don't have to worry!
