Has anyone had surgery in Columbus, Ohio Bariatric Hospital?

Has anyone had the open surgery at the Bariactric Hospital in Columbus, Ohio? Did you get along ok and did you like your doctor?    — S. Troxell (posted on April 5, 2006)

Not personnaly, but know of others. Everyone was favorable with surgeons and hospital staff. Just make sure you join a support group prior to surgery and after. That will be your best support to get through it. Continue support group will keep you on track and in focus long term. Best of wishes... Vera from Greenville, OH

I had the RNY procedure on 9/23/05 and have only positive things to report in regard to the surgery itself as well as the staff at the Barix Clinic. Dr. Vig is a very sincere doctor with a good bedside manner. Many of the nurses have had the surgery and are very sympathetic. I am six months post-op and have lost 98 pounds! Good luck to you!
