Question:
How do i jump start start my weight loss 2 1/2 years post op

I am 30 lbs from goal . I am having all the extra skin removed in 9 hours of surgery on the 29th of January. i am still 30 lbs form goal. I woild love to lose more weight now, but have not even tried in a year and A half. Where do i start.    — STAR W. (posted on December 28, 2002)

Congratulations on getting that close to goal. That is terrific. Do you have any ideal how much you will lose with the reconstructive surgery? I am waiting for insurance approval for a panniculectomy now and my surgeon thinks I will lose between 20 and 25 pounds when it is done. I you lose that much, you will be very close. Good luck with your surgery.
