Is it normal to lose 27 pounds in 3 weeks?
IS THE DRY MOUTH AND THE INABILITY TO DRINK PLAIN WATER NORMAL I ALSO HAVEN'T HAD A BOWEL MOVEMENT IN 1 WEEK NO CONSTIPATION IM JUST WONDERING IS THIS HOW IT WILL ALWAYS BE AND IM STILL ON A PUREED DIET. — DIONE M. (posted on November 10, 2000)

I had the same problem for awhile. Your dry mouth will get better when
you can get all your water in 64oz. I sometimes add a little crystal light
with mine. Also I am told that you can count tea as water if it is
decaffinated. As for the weight loss, do you feel it is too little, or too
much. I think it is GREAT! Much success to you.

I also had the dry mouth problem when I wasn't drinking enough water &
still do somewhat if I don't drink at least 64 ounces a day. It's hard to
get all your wtaer in, but just sip, sip, sip; it does add up eventually.

IT IS NOW 4 MONTHS LATER AND IM GLAD TO SAY IT ALL PASSED IVE LOST 80LBS TO
DATE AND FEELING WONDERFUL BOY WAS I DEPRESSED, SCARED AND CONFUSED BACK

I am 3 weeks and 2 days post op and so far I've lost 45 pounds, it all
depends on how heavy you are, but as long as you're felling ok, you should
be fine. Good Luck!!
