Question:
Does anyone know of a surgeon who does the lap RNY/gastric bypass in Seattle?

Besides Dr. Dellinger - he charges too much (quoted me 25 to 35 thousand for the lap RNY on average. Alvarado center in San Diego charges 18 to 22 thousand for the same procedure.) I'm scheduled for the Alvarado in September, but I'll have to travel and be alone for the two weeks while I'm down there, and I'd rather do it up in Seattle or maybe even Portland Oregon. Although I haven't received any answers on this, in case anyone's curious I discovered that the cost of Dr. Dellinger's surgery for self pay RNY will be closer to 22 to 25 thousand (rather than 35 thousand) barring any complications. Still working on getting a date set with this highly respected bariatric surgeon. Thanks.

Dr. Oh is going to start doing Lap RNY in September. He apparently has been training in St. Louis and Atlanta and the first week he does them, a DR from St. Louis will be with him.
