Question:
Clothing Exchange
Does ObesityHelp.com still have a clothing exchange? I am not finding it. Thanks. — Janell C. (posted on December 16, 2009)

I used to know where it was on here, lol, used to be on "home"
then "connect and share" somewhere in there, but what I did was
found a girl that had surgery about 5 months ahead of me, and she lives
about 10 miles from me, so I just started handing down my clothes to her.
Also, here's an answer that someone posted in the past when I was looking
for it "Hi, I have a FREE solution for new clothes. Go to the website
www.freecycle.org it is a free cite hosted by yahoo. How it works is you
find your city and sign up with yahoo as a member. It is a website that
allows you to give and receive anything for free (no money exchange is
allowed). After you sign up you can look at the list of what they call
OFFERS and reply to the ones you need. You can also place a WANTED ad for
the clothes you need. I have been using the cite for about a year and have
given away clothes, appliances, construction supplies you name it, I gave
away everything I did not need. I also got things from offers such as my
wall unit and lots of clothes. Try the site you'll love it." I am
going to try this when my weight loss starts really dropping (I just had
surgery Monday :) I hope some of this helps and good luck to you!

I just hit up the thrift store for the first years since nothing fit for
more than a few months. Once I was done with them I just donated them to
goodwill.

The Cleveland Bariatric Center (St. Vincent's Hospital) has one as part of
its service to its patients. Check with your center to see if they have
one.
