Question:
are their more than one kind of rny bypass procedure?

are their different types of rny bypass because i dont know which one i have if their are different please explain it to me i thought it was on 1 kind of rny bypass procedure i didnt know it was more than 1 kind i just find this out after my surgery    — goal100 (posted on November 15, 2009)

Hi. There are different methods of bypass surgery. You definitely want to talk with your surgeon and fully understand which procedure he did on you!!! I had the RNY procedure last May 27, 2008. You must know how your new body functions with nutritional needs and hydration needs. The more knowledgeable you are about your surgery the more successful you will be. Remember this was a tool that we used to continue to win our battle over obesity. It was not a quick fix and then forget it. It will be with you for the rest of your life. Hi, I would suggest reading this site..it does give the different kinds of surgery as well as much more info you will need and want to know. Best of luck in what ever you do.
