I use something called "PB2"-- it is a powdered peanut butter that you mix with water. it only has 54 calories per two tablespoon serving. that's right-- and only 3 grams of fat. while it is not necessarily as creamy as "real" peanut butter it is VERY peanut-y and VERY tasty!!! i really would never bother having "real" peanut butter again! there is another substance that walden farms makes that is a calorie free peanut spread. i will not say that it is delicious but i have purchased it and i have added it to flavor a protein shake. i wouldn't really use it in place of regular peanut butter.

I use skippy natural. It has less sugar, fat, and oils. I do well with it.

Hi! I am 1 year out and have been eating Jif peanut butter since the dr's said I could. I have tried others and like Jif the best. I was raised on peter pan...but I like this one better now. I only eat 1 T at a time but it has never bothered me. I know we are all different, so try it and see. The sugar content was never an issue...I could drink 16 oz of milk with protein powder in it and never had the 11 grams of sugar bother me..and that was from the beginning. I always try things out and see if I can tolerate it. I got to goal in 9 1/2 months and have since had trouble stopping losing...I just can't get in the calories..but I am losing very slowly, so I am not concerned. Hope all goes great for you! hugs, Kim

I use one called Naturally More that I found at Walmart when I was looking to get some peanut butter. It contains flaxseed and flaxseed oil. It has morp protein and fiber than normal peanut butter and tastes just as good. It is also comparable in price. You can check out the website at naturallymore.com. I showed it to the nurse and she said it was good nutrition wise, and she tasted it and went out and bought some for her and her husband.

I use the JIF reduced sugar. Low in sugar and fat, and tastes very good. Got it at the regular grocery.
