Question:
is the gas as bad with lap band surgery? even with nutri-sweet?

I had LAP RNY, my mom and dad both had LAP BAND - they are worse than I am. I think it depends on your bod.

I think Splenda is the way to go instead of nutra sweet - it seems better for me; my gas is much, much less without sugar alcohol things (look up sugar alcohol on the internet.)

See I had lap RNY. I dont have bad gas. I have often wondered why. I wonder if it is because of different people's body. I cant each chicken though... I miss chicken.

I had it bad with lap band. I don't use any sweetners now. Splenda is known for stomach problems and it is bad for diabetics and nutri sweet, I never had any problems with it. I just decided one day to stay off any type of sweetners. Diane
