Question:
Has anyone tried the UNJURY protein powders??
My NUT gave a few powder packets to me of different flavors to try after surgery and I was wondering how they taste to you and do you recommend them at all? Thanks!! — [Deactivated Member] (posted on December 23, 2007)

Hi there, I have tried all three flavors and I like the Chocolate best.
The vinellia is good but I don't like strawberry so I don't really know
about that one to much. There is another powder we use that is cheeper if
you have a store like SAMS. You can buy it at GNC also but Sams has a 6
LB. bag and it cost about 28.00 which compaired to Unjury which cost about
18.00 for a 1 pound container is a much better buy. They taste about the
same. This one is called EAS. Go to bariaticeating.com and you can get
one or two samples of different things. I hope this helps.

I use UNJURY. I like the Choc and Van. I use the unflavored with SF FF
Pudding to put 20 gr of protein in about 4-5 servings. I liked the chicken
soup one before surgery but dislike it now. I like them better with 1% milk
but they can be mixed with water or coffee.

I have been to GNC and I think UNJURY is the best. I haven't tried the
Chocolate but the strawberry it great i even add 1/2 of bananna in it with
8oz of skim milk. The Vanilla is very good also I have put strawberry's in
that.

I have used both unjury and EAS there is a difference.Unjury uses a protien
isolate and EAS is a combo .I was told that the isolate is easier for your
body to handle. I like the taste of both products.

Sorry, hit the wrong button. I add the chicken soup unjury to cream of
chicken soup along with chicken stock from Manischewitz chicken broth and
the combination is great. Just be careful when you add the unjury chicken
soup, make sure you mix it with warm water and don't add it to boiling soup.
It's not supppose to be over 130degrees. Hope this was helpful, I am
ordering a can of unjury chicken soup and he unflavored to add to other
stuff today. I also use optisource protein drink, rather expensive, so I
probably won't use it forever, it's just convenient right now. I will be 2
wks post surgery tomorrow on Xmas. Good Luck.
