Hi:) So whats your question? Some use optifast pre op for weight loss before surgery. So whats up?

Optifast is a great way to lose weight - unfortunately I have yet to hear of a case where it worked long-term and the individual did not have surgery. So if it's to lose weight before surgery - go for it! If your insurance provider or doctor says you can lose the weight permanently this way as an alternative to surgery, well, it's just a way of delaying the inevitable.

I tried Optifast after surgery because I was putting back on weight. I didn't like it. It made me want to eat more than ever. Don't forget the price is expensive. It didn't work for me. Still felt hungry. Try it you may have the discipline for it.
