Hairloss and Iron

Nicole, I'm having difficulty replying to your email. I hope that you will get to read this response. I'm only 2.5 mos post and I have had lots of hair loss. I was wondering what you would consider "very anemic"? My iron last week was 18 where healthy is supposed to fall between 22-146. Wow I have had bad hair loss the whole 2 years since I have had surgery. I have just recently been told that I am anemic and its not responding to iron supplements. I am kinda interested in the infusion part of how that works.

I am 5 yrs postop and I am VERY anemic as well. I am also getting weekly iron infusions. Can I ask you a quesion. Did it dry your hair out at all?? I have had 4 treatments now. How about you?
