Hi, The Dr said 4 weeks, but I managed to have it very carefully at 3
weeks. It is a personal preference. You may or may not be feeling up to
it, depending on which procedure you had. Good luck, April

Agreed, everyone is different. It was 6 weeks for me because I had a few
complications. Whenever you do it- go slowly and realize having someone's
full weight on top of you will be very uncomfortable for some time. Just
like it took time to lay flat again after surgery. Go slow- enjoy!

Thanks for the smile! It took me back 3 years, and the pressure was there
for me too! Remember that there is more than one way to relieve the
pressure. If intercourse is uncomfortible, try something else ;o). I
remember that after my 1 week appointment, I had to see the doctor again in
1 month and sex had to wait until after that visit.......I didn't make it.
Be gentle, listen to your body, be creative and have fun! WLS 9-13-2002

My doctor told me to do it when I was comfortable. It was about two weeks
for me.

Everyone is different!! I was BAD, My husband and I had sex at day 5...very
carefully, I still had drain tubes in, how attractive is that...lol.
I had Lap. RNY and had hardly no pain at all. So I guess it depends on a
lot of factors. Mind you I didnt tell my doctor till later, and he did say
as long as your careful and comfortable.
Just be cautious!

WE did a few days after i got home from the surgery. Just be careful to
not put pressure on your incicsions. YOur surgery is nowhere near your sex
organs, so you should be able to do it as soon as you feel like it, as long
as you are careful and do not indulge in any wild positions or activity!
