Question:
Has anyone had Dr. Christopher Thompson in Boston.

I have an appointment with Dr. Thompson to have an Endoscopic Gastric Bypass revision, it is suspose to be a one day procedure, going through the mouth and making the pouch and stoma smaller. Called my insurance and they said it would be covered if their is medical necessity. Don't quite understand that since I lost an appeal from my insurance for a revision to a ring on the stoma and pouch made smaller. Can someone shed some light on how this will be approved also, maybe because it is much cheaper and not invasive?    — donnabug57 (posted on January 23, 2006)
