Question:
Anyone been where Im at
At 5 months out I've only lost 50 pounds and I seem to be stuck, but beyond the stuck part I don't know anyone that has only lost 50 by 5 months out. I just really think I'll never get there. I excercise daily walking 2 miles and do weights 3 days a week. I get 80-100 ounces of water. I get my vitamins and get all my protein. Has anyone been this slow and made it to goal????????????? Well a couple of questions. Are you losing inches. If so what may be
happening is that you may be converting fat into muscle with all of the
exercising. muscle is heavier so even though you are losing it may not be
as much because of the difference between fat and muscle. Also what is the
calorie content of other food. Are you eating too much other stuff besides
protein. Are there other carbs involved etc. What is your typical menu etc.
You may just be one of those slow losing people. That is not all bad.
Sounds like you have a great healthy program that will serve you in the
long run.

Hey Noreen!!! You are not the only one!! Check out my profile and you'll
see that I am also a slow loser. I'm only about 10 to 15 pounds away from
my goal (surgeon's goal also) before I have any plastics. Chin up!
Plateaus are hell but if you're doing what you're supposed to, the plateau
will break and the weight will come off!

Not to worry. It will all come in due time. You are not the only one. I
will be 7 months out come the 31st of this month (October) and I've only
lost 67 lbs so far. I'm hoping at least -70 by the 31st. If that's the
case, then I'll be able to say that I lose at least 10 lbs per month.
That's not bad! I can't remember any other time in my life where I would
lose 10 lbs per month. As far as I can see, you are right on the same
target with me. When I was 21 weeks post of, I had lost 55 lbs. Think of
it this way, the slower you lose, the more time your skin has to catch up
with you. So, maybe you'll have less hanging skin. I wish you all the
best. If you'd like to talk, email me. The email address listed on my
profile is my home address, therefore, I will not be able to reply until
after business hours...just wanted you to know so you wouldn't think I just
wasn't responding. Good luck! (hugs)

I am 4 months out and lost 47... but like another poster said, I have never
even lost this much weight at any other time in my life! If I'm a slow
loser, then she's right... your skin has time to catch up... I have very
little hanging skin so far...

If it makes you feel any better, I'm 9 weeks out and only lost 27 pounds.

HI Noreen, I'm 4 1/2 months out and I've lost 42lbs but..gained 3 back so I
guess were in the same boat. We are all individuals with different body
metabolisms, types, etc. and I think you'll hit your goal no problem, it
may take a little longer or less but you'll get there..

Boy...do I sympathize. I'm 3 months out as of today and have only lost 40
pounds. I've lost 7 this last month - how frustrating!!!
