Question:
Protein shakes in Canada

I'd like to buy protein shake mixes in Canada, and Vita Lady sounds good, but I don't want to get hit with the exchange on the dollar, and customs, etc. Does anyone know of either a Vita Lady distributor in Canada, or can they recommend the name of a protein shake that is obtainable here?    — defatbroad (posted on September 21, 2003)

I use Unjury protein powder. I am sure they ship to Canada but you might want to call there toll free number. 1-800-517-5111 or 1-703-925-9390. You can also send questions to [email protected]. They have a wonderful chocolate protein powder that you mix with milk and it tastes JUST LIKE chocolate milk. I can not tell you how impressed I am with this product.I tried so many but could not stand even one of them even a little bit. Good luck!

Cathy, I've seen Unjury products at GNC here in Windsor Ont. if you would like to try the other posters suggestion. I use the GNC unflavoured whey protein powder, 8 oz. water, 3 ice cubes, 1 tablespoon of wheat bran, and a flavouring-fruit(fresh, peeled and pitted peach or applesauce or 4 frozen strawberries) or 2 tablespoons of carnation low sugar hot chocolate mix. The chocolate really kills the taste of the protien powder so that is what I use most of the time now. I always use a blender for this, adding the ice cubes 1 at a time using the pulse button to chop them up.
