you can buy it on Barbara's website for $18.95 at www.wlscenter.com it is well worth it. I would sell you mine but it is autographed and i still refer back to it as a post op

This is a very good book which talks about all aspects of the wls in lay language. Fortunately, Barbara lives one community over from me, and I was able to buy it at the support group I attend at Univ Pgh Med Ctr (UPMC). Well, recently, my older sister, who is M.O. and has diabetes was visiting me from out of state. We were discussing the procedure and she told me that she couldn't have it because of her age and because she had diabetes. Boy, did I set her straight and I gave her my copy of Barbara's book. So I will have to buy another one when I go to the next support meeting.

Its AWESOME, and pre op we called it our bible. Its in a updated printing now and even better. Barb is a great lady and just had a facelift, She looks good put the picture immediately after surgery were well scary. She joked that people though her hubby was a wife abuser...
