Melissa - I've had 3 C-Sections (bikini line), one lap procedure for GYN
problems, and an appendectomy. I had Lap RNY 7 weeks ago. My procedure
from start to finish took 2 1/2 hours - doctor didn't encounter any
terrible adhesions and I am doing great. I was home the next day and back
to work in a week. I've got three kids ages 12, 7, and 5 and have more
energy now than I know what to do with!
Good luck to you.

Prior to my lap RNY I had had 2 C-sections, an abdominal hysterectomy, and
a "tradtional" gall bladder surgery. The C-sections and
hysterectomy were not an issue at all because the lap RNY involves only the
upper abdomen. I had significant adhesions from the gall bladder surgery,
but it presented no problems for my surgeon. He simply corrected the
adhesions during the lap RNY. Good luck!
