Question:
What is the best tasting whey protein product?

Can anyone tell me the best tasting protein shakes? So far I'm not impressed with Bariactric Fusion. Is Unjury really as good as the ads say?    — bblades1228 (posted on October 4, 2010)

The best one I like is the UnJury Chocolate Protein Powder. Their unflavored is good too if you add it to foods. But the chocolate makes good shakes and add 2 scoops to sugar free instant chocolate pudding and its amazing ! each scoop is one serving and makes one shake... and has 20gm protein. Its only sold at unjury.com and amazon.com I go straight to the company though because they always send you recipes and samples of their other products free with your purchase. Good Luck J

GNC whey protein, you canpurchase it at any Rite Aid or GNC outlet. They sell small packets to try the flavors..my favorite is mixed berry, vanilla and mocha...low sugar and 20grams of protein per 8 ounces. You can mix it with water.

U need to buy them in small packets and try them out to find what u like. I will also advise to not buy large tubs just because ur taste might change quickly. I love the shakes for the first week after that I can't even look at them. Now I'm stuck with a bunch on 2lb tubs that I can't drink.

I have tried many. I prefer Bariatric Fusion. Link to is, http://bariatricfusion.com/. Most are 27 grams of protein and only about 170 calories. Prices are very good and they have a sampler pack to try the different flavors, I strongly recommend as everyones palate is different. My favorites are the strawberry shortcake and orange cream. The mint chocolate ice cream and cappuccino are also good.

I use NOW and Chike, they are both good, but I like NOW better, that doesn't leave any after taste at all.

HI...I have tried them all...Isopure from GNC....is the best...one scoop of the powder (dutch chocolate) and glass of milk. 12/18/2008 was my surgery date and I still drink a shake in the AM

I have sampled a lot of protein as I am 7 wks out from RNY GB. My favorite so far is Gladiator powder in Chocolate from Smoothie King! You can mix other stuff with it ( I love throwing in some instant coffee) and it is yummy :)

The best option is to try and get some sample sizes; everyone has different taste buds! I really like Jillian Michaels, the vanilla flavor, though...and it has a few grams of fiber in it, also! The chocolate is ok, too, but I like the vanilla better (and I'm typically a choc fan!). If you get some that has a strong protein flavor to them, try adding in a teaspoon or so of peanut butter or a cored granny smith apple (if your nut allows them)...they both help eliminate that taste that some proteins have! Good luck!

I think the best is strawberry sorbet from Unjury mixed with cans of strawberry cream of World Wide Protein shake-35grams per can and the Unjury is 20 grams protein per scoop. Of course, you need to adjust the sweetness taste with Splenda with Fiber or any low cal or natural sweetner. Sweeten to taste, your preference. Sometimes I will also add a container of strawberry Yoplait yogurt. YUM-YUM!!! Enjoy!

Unjury's new CHOCOLATE SPLENDOR. I have been using vanilla and love it and really didn't care much for the regular chocolate. Then they came out with the chocolate and I am in heaven. I just switch back and forth between the two of them. Also, Unjury is the purest product out there and the only one not made in china.

I have found my favorite (by far) to be Pure Protein RTD Shakes Worldwide Sports Nutrition. You can get them at The Vitamin Shoppe online, or at invigorate360.com.
