Your entire question did not post, but I believe you are asking "Will my Insurance still pay?" Everyone's Insurance is different, but I really researched a lot before I even began this process. You do not want to gain over 5lbs during your 6 month diet! (Or 3 month diet in your case) According to my insurance it tell them I am not serious enough to make the commitment that is required by the band. You don't have to drop a great deal, just a little to show them you are ready. Have you already been approved? Once you are approved you can loose all the weight you want. My goal was to drop 20lbs before surgery. I did it...yea! Show them you are ready!! Kimberly
