Rice cakes are great "old diet" filler snacks...They offer NO
nutrition what so ever...They'd be okay for dipping, but only offer simple
carbs and calories ...I use the soy crisps found in the same section and
they offer you the same great crunch, a little more taste and nutrition
such as 8% of your iron...2 fiber 8 protein and one serving is 17-18 crisps
at only 100 calories...As opposed to the same calories and carbs with no
significant nutrition...I'd rather chomp on celery or carrots than rice
cakes for some vitamins at least...

rice cakes are just a waste of space you need for protien. If you are
having a problem with over eating after time then it maybe ok.

I also think that rice cakes might swell up in your tummy and that is bad!

When i have a desire fro something sweet, i do eat the chocolate or other
sweet flavored rice cakes. I also do like the soy cakes very much. It is
a nice crunch that is something different than carrots or celery. I would
not make a huge habit of them though because they are the"empty"
calorie snack...

Rice cakes are all carbs. Not good for you if you had bypass.
