Question:
Stomach pain 4 yrs out

This is to anyone who had the RNY a few years back. I am wondering if anyone is having trouble with pain in the upper stomach area, I have had all kinds of test and two surgerie's this summer. I also had a stress test for my heart today. I do have problem's with my parathyroid not putting out enough hormone so I do not absorb Calcium which causes my heart to beat irregular at times.so if anyone has had anything like this please give me your advice. I AM 6 YRS OUT OF OPEN RNY AND I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH STOMACH PAIN FOR ANOUT 2-3 YRS NOW.IVE HAD EXPLORATORY SURGERY,ADHISSIONS REMOVED.HYSTERECTOMY, HERNIA REPAIR. TODAY I STILL AM HAVING PAIN.MY DR SAID THAT ITS PROBABLY NERVE DAMAGE.MY SURGEON SAID THAT IF I KEEP HAVING PAIN, THEN HELL DO ANOTHER EXPLORATORY.I SAY ., OH NO HE WONT.I DONT WANT SURGERY AGAIN.

My advice: Get another doctor, one who will give you some personal attention besides cashing your cheques.
