Question:
when having lapband how long before a bubble bath
I had lapband surgery on 11-08-07 and wondered how long do I have to wait before I can take a bubble bath. I know showeres are ok but forgot to ask about taking a bath.. Thanks — gabbyjane (posted on November 18, 2007)

As soon as your incisions are healed to the point that they are not open or
crusty at all - probably about 2 weeks. Ask your doc 2 b sure.

I had a lap bypass and took a bubble bath the night I came home so.. day 3.
You need to wash the insicions anyway, i left the steri strips on till ..
well till they began to bother me and took baths all along.

i could only shower until my check-up, which was almost 3 weeks later. the
incisions need to heal well before you start taking baths, because you
don't want to introduce any germs into those sites. hope this
helps...Holly

I was told no swimming or baths until after my 3 weeks check up. Make sure
to follow Drs orders.
