I would, absolutly! If itt helps make you feel better it's is probably a great time to do it! A friend of mine did that and had pedicure/manicures done. No fake nails or nail color because they need to be able to check your circulation. It made her feel like she was gettinga fresh start. She called it her rebirth, lol.

If it will make you feel better go for it. I got my hair done, nails and a pedicure. I was really happy I did because it was awhile before I felt like going out and doing that kind of thing for myself after surgery. If you do the nails remember clear or a really light pink polish or they will have to take it off. They need to see your nail beds because of oxygen levels. Good Luck and God Bless, Norma

I agree with the other posters I would go ahead and do it too. I wish I had because I wasn't able to have mine colored until I was like 9 or 10 months out. I had started to shed alot of hair and I didnt wanna make things worse by adding the color. So go for it and God Bless You!!!

It only matters if it matters to you. If you want your hair colored, then go ahead, it won't matter to your surgeon or team. I cut my hair into an easy haircut before surgery to help me with recovery, and it did help. Patricia P.

I am scheduled to have my surgery next Tuesday and I plan on coloring my hair this weekend. I am getting it cut on Thursday. If you are like me, I wondered if it would matter if I had it colored or not because of the possibility of loosing it later. I didn't want to do anything to make it worse. But from the previous responses I am going to go ahead and have it colored. Good luck with your surgery.

As the song says...".Wash that Gray right outta your hair". Best wishes and a speedy recovery.
