My doctor stated to use tylenol (caplets broken in half) and occasionally
advil again breaking the caplet in half so it was as small as a M & M.

Ask your own surgeon. Mine said ibuprofen occasionally won't hurt (since
it is the only thing that works for me.) I'm 3 1/2 years out, never have
had a problem.

My doctor recommends ADULT LIQUID TYLENOL. It is kind of hard to find.
Believe it or not, I could not find it at the pharmacy stores like
Walgreens or Osco. I actually found it at Walmart, so needless to say I
bought 2 bottles of the stuff, since I don't want to have to go out looking
for it when I am really needing it. LOL.

Early on immediately after surgery Rixucet liquid percocet. Once your out a
little while tylenol is recommended as it doesnt irritate the stomach.

I have terrible menstural pain (associated with endometreosis). Tylenol
didnt help. My surgeon says no NSAIDS with one excpetion. I take
celebrex. There are problems surrounding it so check with the doctor. For
me it was a lifesaver. With out it I am sure that a hysterectomy woul be
in the near future, I am only 29 so that would have been devastating for
me.

I'm probably insane, but I take aspirin occasionally for arthritis pain.
I'm also nearly 8 months out, so my stomach is well healed. Tylenol and
Motrin are uselessto me, they never gave me any pain relief, and Advil is
too scary. Thank God I haven't had any bad reactions, but I also realize
that every time I take aspirin, I'm going against my surgeon's advice, and
risking the consequences. So why do we pay the experts all that money and
then ignore their advice? :-)
