Question:
What should we be eating?
I am at 8 mths. I started out at 215 lbs. and had an open RNY on 3/18/02. I have lost 65 lbs. in 5.5 mths. but for the last .5 mth. I have not lost anything. I walk 2.54 to 3 miles 4 X a week and do weight training 3 X's a week. I eat 4 oz. 4 X's a day with the majority of food being protein. My concern is that I have stretched my pouch or that I'm eating the wrong combination of foods. My doctor has still not give me specifics on what %'s or calories, etc. that I should be eating. I get really confused. Does anyone know where I should be at? — Lonnie L. (posted on November 20, 2002)

two weeks is not something you should stress over - really! Your body is
going thru a normal readjustment phase most likely. Look at how it's
changed - you've lost a LOT of weight (congrats!) and are exercising,
toning and strengtheing. Give it a breather and keep doing what you're
doing. It will reattack the fat once it's had a little vacation :>)

Lonnie,
First of all congrats on the weight los this far, you're doing great !!.
Kicking but with the exercise !! Who Yooo!!
You go girl. How-ever you have to take in consideration (2) things, One
would be how many calories are you consuming ? What I actually had to do
was to start using the site Fitday.com to get me back on the track...,
Also you stared at a weight of 215, take that into consideration as well.
( They say light-weights are slow loosers) Sounds like you've hit a platue.
You'll be fine! You're doing great SMILE !!!
On the calories I would recommend about 1200 calories a day.
Best of luck to you and everyone ! If you need anthing email me.
