Question:
Has any one had the fobi pouch procedure and what are the success with it?

I'm waiting on isurance approval but in the meantime when i went to talk to the doctor he does the fobi pouch procedure only.kinda nurvous about it don't hear many people saying they had it before.    — BOBBIE R. (posted on May 11, 2002)

Hi there! My sister had the Fobi done about 7 or 8 months ago. She is doing WONDERFULLY! She looks and feels great! She is helping me to try to get approved for WLS. My insurer doen not pay for the Fobi so I will end up with the RNY procedure if I get approved. My sister has already lost over 90 pounds. She was very happy with Dr. Fobi. You can look up her profile, it is under Y. Cotton in Las Vegas Nevada. If you have this procedure, I feel like you will be really happy with it. (Basing it off of my sisters experience.) That is Dr. Fobis site. I am almost 9 months out and feel great. I went from 240 to 145 in 9mo. I have a few friends who also have the fobi pouch and have no complaints.
