Question:
How long before I can play golf?

I like to play golf weekly, and would like to know how soon after wls that i could expect to play again. It's my only hobby that i do now. I like to shoot pool too,but my wife doesn't like me the pool room.My wls is scheduled for 1/24/00 at alvarado Dr. Wittgrove, hopefully lap.    — RUDY S. (posted on January 10, 2000)

Whether you have the procedure done lap or open,it will take at least 6 weeks to heal completely. I would think that golfing with have to wait a few weeks. Up until 6 weeks we can only lift 5# so we do have to be careful about disrupting incisions both interior and exterior.
