I have a consult on July 13 with Dr. C. Daniel Smith at Emory University. He is Chief of Gastro Surgery and is a reknown expert in the field of laproscopic surgery...and yes he does obesity surgery. He doesn't advertise like so many of the other physicians that do this surgery, but he is the one for me.........supurb credentials and he's never had any medical board sanctions or actions against him. I would check that out on ANY doctor that was going to perform surgery on me....I have found a couple in GA that have been sanctioned...which means the medical board has taken disciplinary action against that physician...just check it out and do your homework.

Dr Dennis Smith in Marietta is a wonderful lap surgeon. He does all of the surgeries except the gastric band. I will be having lap DS done this summer...........:)
