Question:

No matter what you heard don't do protein drinks once you introduce food.
Introduce food as soon as you can tolerate it. Eat every 3 hours something
small. 1/2 cup cottage cheese, a tablespoon of peanut butter, a half
sandwich just as long as it is real food and not protein drinks. Eating
every 3 hours rather then doing protein drinks will keep your weight off
long term. Protein will bulk you up in 3 years and you will gain the weight
back! I am 8 years post op and have kept the 130 lbs off i originally lost!

I hope you find a support group near you as that is really important on
this journey. Most important though is to follow your surgeon's
instructions ... not what you're told here. What works for one person (such
as Kimnerly TenKate) may not be true for the next person.
