Question:
Had gastric sleeve surgery March 5, 2010.
Has anyone out there had the gastric sleeve procedure done? I was wondering if you have this full/foamy feeling in your throat everytime you eat and will it eventually go away. — [Deactivated Member] (posted on April 1, 2010)

I had a VSG on March 15 and the only time I get the full feeling in my
throat or upper chest is when I've "eaten" too much. I think it
depends on how large your sleeve is also.

I had the VSG 3/25/09 and I only had the foamies when I ate too much or too
fast. Chewing everything really well is very important especially the first
5 months. I rarely have a problem with this now but I am still careful
about how much and how fast I eat. The first 6 weeks were the toughest for
me and my friend that had the same surgery it gets much better after that.
I hope you do great.

so chew chew chew and slow down. I am at goal and lost 122 pounds. Congrats
