at 6 weeks I was still on a soft food diet, but these days I think you are on stage 3 ..which means pretty much anything. Just keep in mind that if you haven't had a food since surgery, to keep your meal only that food. If you have a reaction, you want to know what is causing it. If you havign no issues, then try new stuff. Just rememebr to keep it simple, not too spicy and protein first. I can say that for me seafood was a Blessing. Its soft and full of protein and low cal. I ate a lot of it back then. @ ounces of fish is like 70 calories and 7 grams of protein. We have discussed this at support group too. Most agree that its the best food for high protein and low calories. I mention calories, because when any of us reach our goal weight, counting calories may be an important factor in your life. I still count them for my self and i still measure out my food, most meals.. And I know when I have had my fill. I am 21 months out. Best of luck to you! hugs n God Bless, Kim
