Has anyone had surgery through Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield?

Hello- yes I have Highmark BCBS and the process for me went very quickly, my doctor submitted the claim on Monday and on Thursday I was approved. Good luck to you and God Bless. Pawlla

Yes, I had to go through a 6 month supervised weight loss program, pshych evaluation and a bunch of pre-op tests. I was approved in 2 days after my surgeon's office submitted my package on the first try. Any questions you can look at my profile or pm me. Good luck to you.

yes-i too had to go through 6 mo diet failure, a mmpi test (minnesota multi personality inventory) and go through a psych eval. but i too was approved. i have anthem b/c/b/s. good luck to you......kim crain

I had Highmark. After my 6 months of dieting and all the testing I was approved the day after my information was submitted!
