Question:
It hurt when I burp, any suggestions?

I had Lap rny almost 2 weeks ago. when I burp it really hurts. Also, I get these little "hiccup" burps that hurt. Has anyone had this? Any suggestions of how to make it stop? Thanks!    — posprudence (posted on January 14, 2007)

I have found that when I take a drink, when I get it in my mouth, I breathe out the air in my mouth thru my nose and the air doesn't go down, however, you are a newbie, and you need to just sip, not drink. At about 3 mos out you will be able to take bigger drinks. Thats when the hint is helpful.

This happened to me as well, and no I dont have a fix for you. All I did was wait it out, give yourself 2 more weeks and things should get better. When I was 2wks out I asked myself on a daily basis what the hell have I done to me? Now I am 2 months out and feeling fine. So I guess time and prayer is all you need. I hope things get better for you real real soon.
